Schockemohle Sports Anatomical Bridles
Eland Lodge would like to introduce our latest exciting product to store, the innovative anatomical bridles from Schockemohle Sports!
The Schockemohle anatomical bridle line, known as Equitus, presents a new and innovative bridle concept. Focusing on the sensitive elements of the horses head, its innovative design and alignment provides the horse with the ultimate wearing comfort. All these bridles are FN certified and therefore LPO compliant as well as FEI approved.
The Schockemohle Equitus Alpha Bridle's concept focuses on the sensitive head of the horse. Due to the innovative alignment, the Equitus Alpha provides the horse with ultimate wearing comfort. The new alignment avoids the main facial nerve, important blood vessels and arteries, reducing the pressure on the horse’s neck.
The Schockemohle Equitus Beta Bridle features a wider noseband and a richly set crystal browband to provide a classic and more elegant look, than the plain Equitus Alpha. This bridle's concept focuses on the sensitive head of the horse. Due to the innovative alignment, Equitus Beta provides the horse with ultimate wearing comfort. The new alignment avoids for instance the main facial nerve; it spares important blood vessels and arteries and reduces the pressure on the horse’s neck.
The Schockemohle Equitus Delta Bridle offers a curved cavesson noseband which bypasses the main facial nerve with a width of approximately 35mm for a classic dressage look. The headpiece offers an softly padded anatomical shape to help prevent pressure points behind the ears and poll whilst the wide and curved browband avoids any pinching around the eyes and ears. It does not include a flash strap however the bridle features special, improved button rivets for quick and individual adjustments.
At the beginning of the week, Jenny, our Schockemohle representative came into store to train our shop staff on these innovative bridles. As ever the girls challenged Jenny with lots of tricky questions to understand exactly what the bridles offer, and with Jenny's handy tips the girls are now fully trained in the technology, materials and fitting of the Schockemohle anatomical bridles.
Rider Iona and her pony blake were really having trouble getting a bridle to fit. Whilst at an Arena Eventing competition here at Eland they decided to pop into store to look at bridles. Having Blake onsite was a huge bonus and our shop girls were able to take the bridles outside to try on him. Anatomical bridles, like any other bridles only do there job if fitted correctly so we always suggest getting advice and help on fitting as each individual bridle will fit differently. Iona and Blake are now super happy that they have not only found a bridle to fit but also one that is comfortable for Blake.
