About Pikeur

When you buy a Pikeur product, you buy into a brand steeped in heritage. The German company dates back to 1899 with H. W. Meyer producing clothing for work and uniforms.

In 1957 Meyer’s son, Franz Heinrich-Meyer took over the business. With a passion for horses, Franz steered the business in a new direction with made-to-measure riding clothes. The newly named Haefner & Co was the first company to make clothes for an industrial riding fashion.

The business changed its name again in 1964 to Pikeur — a name we know and love today.

In 1977 Michael Meyer, Franz’s oldest son, branched out with his own company Eskadron. Today, Eskadron is one of the most popular brands on the market for equestrian equipment and accessories.

Pikeur has gone from strength to strength and maintains its reputation as a world-leading brand, producing the highest quality clothing. Riders can step out in style, knowing they have innovation and durability on their side.
