The story behind Ariat

Have you ever stopped to think about what Ariat means? Ariat comes from the name of the legendary racehorse Secretariat. Secretariat was famous for his will to win against all the odds — his tendency to start last from the gate was overcome by his love of running and his big heart (which was three times the size of a typical thoroughbred).
