What is Mips technology?

Mips stands for Multi-Directional Impact Protection System. This system features a low friction layer which is mounted inside the helmet. In the event of a fall, this layer is designed to move slightly inside the helmet, to redirect force away from the head. This is to help reduce the risk of brain injury.
