Schockemohle Bridles

The Schockemohle Equitus range of anatomical bridles incorporate the latest research into equine comfort to create beautiful modern bridles. Not only are these bridles stunning in appearance, they’re crafted from the softest leather, and designed anatomically to ensure your horse’s optimum comfort and performance. We stock the Schockemohle Equitus Alpha, Beta and Delta anatomical Bridles.

As a key piece of tack, our horse’s bridle helps us to communicate effectively with the horse while we ride. The bridle is made up from a number of leather work elements, including a headpiece, browband, and cheekpieces which attach the bit. The bridle can also include a noseband, throatlash and reins. The design of the bridle dictates whether it is simple, gentle, kind, comfortable for the horse, helps you to slow down a strong horse, or helps with ridden problems such as the horse taking hold, crossing its jaw, opening its mouth, leaning or lifting its head too high. As with all tack, the best bridle for your horse is the one that fits best and delivers the support the horse needs.

Our extensive collection of bridles have been carefully selected by our expert team for their quality, functionality, and comfort for the horse. From the affordable everyday bridle to an modern anatomical bridle, a traditional showing bridle through to a sparkly competition bridle, we’ve got a bridle for every occasion.

Our top quality leather bridles are all supplied by trusted equestrian brands including PS of Sweden, Horseware Micklem, Shires, Stubben, Jeffries, Schockemohle and Passier. For the environmentally conscious, a selection of our bridles are available in sustainable eco-leather and vegetable tanned leather.

Our range of modern anatomical bridles have been created specifically with the horses’ anatomy in mind. Cut to a specific shape to help prevent pressure on the horse’s facial nerves, they promote the horses wellbeing and happiness. A well-fitting anatomical bridle can positively affect the horse’s movement and allow the horse to perform at their best.

For a stunning classic appearance, our range of traditional leather bridles offer the choice of cavesson nosebands, drop nosebands, flash nosebands, and Mexican grackle nosebands. There’s a range of leatherwork styles to choose from too, including plain flat hunter and show bridles, smart raised leatherwork, or padded dressage bridles.
