Elandlodge.com Announced As New Sponsors Of The National Hunter Trial Championships

After five years of sponsoring the prestigious National Hunter Trial Championships, Horseware Ireland are stepping down and handing over the reins to new sponsor, online equestrian and country retailer elandlodge.com.

From the initial concept of the series being established by John Coupland, Managing Director of Eland Lodge, through to hosting the Championship Finals each year, Eland Lodge has been involved in the Hunter Trial Series from the start.

The National Hunter Trial Championship tests the partnership of horse and rider over a series of Cross Country fences and varied terrain. This popular national series sees more than 185 qualifying events take place throughout the UK each year, and over 26,500 qualifying rounds were completed in 2018 alone! The series culminates in a National Final which around 500 competitors attend to contest the Championship title. Designed to appeal to grassroots riders, the classes start at an inviting 70cm going up to a testing 1m track.
