As proud supporters of entry level sport, our Unaffiliated Showjumping give competitors the opportunity to compete at 55cm to 1.05m, so you’ll find a competition that’s perfect for you whether you’re just getting started or you’re progressing through the levels.

Unaffiliated Showjumping competitions are a great way to get started competitive showjumping, and can also be used to prepare your horse for eventing or affiliated showjumping competitions.

Eland Lodge is proud to be a well organised, professional and friendly competition venue. All unaffiliated showjumping competitions are held on our Andrews Bowen Pro Wax surface.

Clear Round: 55cm (Approx. 1’9”)
This will run from 9.30am – 10am
Entry Fee: £9* per round

Class 1: 55cm (Approx. 1’9”)
No BSJA registered combinations may compete in this class
Entry Fee: £12*

Class 2: 65cm (Approx. 2’1”)
Entry Fee: £12*

Class 3: 75cm (Approx. 2’6”)
Entry Fee: £12*

Class 4: 85cm (Approx. 2’9”)
Entry Fee: £12*

Class 5: 95cm (Approx. 3’1”)
Entry Fee: £12*

Class 6: 1m (Approx. 3’4”)
Entry Fee: £12*

Class 7: 1.05m (Approx. 3’6”)
Entry Fee: £12*

*An additional £3 medical cover fee will be charged once per rider per competition.

Entry Fee: See individual classes – entries taken on the day, at the Show Secretary’s trailer.

Classes are single phase. The jump off fences will be raised by 5cm.

Horses & Ponies may be split at the judge’s discretion (there needs to be a minimum of 6 in a class before it is split).


What to Wear

  • Competition wear must be worn during all classes & clear rounds.
  • Riders should wear competition dress of all presentations of prizes.
  • You must wear an up to standard Hat (as per British Showjumping Rules)
  • Body Protectors and Air Jackets are recommended, but not essential.

Rosettes & Prizes

Rosettes and prizes may be awarded separately to Pony and Horse riders, dependent on the numbers in the class (there needs to be a minimum of 6 in the class before it is split). As a minimum, a ratio of one rosette/prize per 5 starters will be awarded per section. if the class is split, prizes are awarded 1st - 3rd only*

All welcome to attend our Trophy Show on Sunday 6th September, the winner of each class will be awarded a trophy to be kept for the year plus a winner's sash.


If you jump a double clear in the 75cm, 85cm, 95cm or 1.05m classes during April to August you will qualify for The David Broome Event Centre Championships of GB.

Competitors placed 1st – 6th in the 55cm, 65cm, 75cm, 85cm, 95cm & 1m classes during March to August will qualify for the UK Riders National Championship.

Riders who gain 30 points or three top 3 finishes during March – June at the same level (65cm -1.05m) will qualify for the Blue Chip Feeds Festival of Equestrianism. The Championships are at Addington 17th -19th of July.
