The NSEA Show Jumping is held on Eland Lodge’s Andrew’s Bowen Pro-Wax Surface, over a course of BS standard fences. This event is for the following National Schools NSEA Show Jumping Qualifiers: NSEA National Schools Championships 2019, NSEA Championship Plate 2019, NSEA National County Show Jumping Chmapionships/RPL Points, Royal Windsor Horse Show – Windsor Team Qualifier 90/95cm, Hickstead Elite 1m Team Qualifier, Hickstead Elite 1.10m Individual Qualifier.

This event is for the following National Schools NSEA Show Jumping Qualifiers:

NSEA National Schools Championships 2019
1st & 2nd placed teams & 1st - 4th placed individuals will qualify for the 23rd annual NSEA National Schools Championships 2019. To be held at Addington Manor October 2019.

NSEA Championship Plate 2019
3rd - 8th placed teams & 5th - 8th placed individuals will qualify for the
NSEA Championship Plate 2019. To be held at Keysoe.

NSEA National County Show Jumping Chmapionships/RPL Points
East Midlands NSEA County Challenge Qualifier for the NSEA National County Show Jumping Championships at Bury Farm April 2019

The winning team & individual will represent their county at the finals. This competition is open to schools from all counties and will count for RPL points.

Royal Windsor Horse Show – Windsor Team Qualifier 90/95cm
The highest placed 2 teams will qualify for Windsor NSEA SJ Championship 2019 on Saturday 11th May 2019. The top two teams must be from different schools.

Hickstead Elite 1m Team Qualifier
The top 2 teams will qualify to compete at Hickstead (1st August 2019). Teams of 3 or 4, best 3 scores to count. One round, single phase.

Hickstead Elite 1.10m Individual Qualifier
The top 2 horses & ponies will qualify to compete at Hickstead (1st August 2019). Individual 1.10m qualifiers for horses and ponies (separate sections). Distances will be shortened in combinations for the pony section. One round, single phase.

Classes

Class 1: Mini 70-75cm Team & Individual 
Single phase.
All team riders automatically count as individuals. 
Riders to be aged under 14 on 1st January 2019.
Team & Individual National Qualifier
Team & Individual Qualifier for the County finals at Bury Farm April 2019.

Class 2: Novice 80-85cm Team & Individual 
Single phase. 
All team riders automatically count as individuals.
Team & Individual National Qualifier
Team & Individual Qualifier for the County finals at Bury Farm April 2019.

Class 3: Intermediate 90-95cm Team & Individual 
Single phase.
All team riders automatically count as individuals
Team & Individual National Qualifier
Team & Individual Qualifier for the County finals at Bury Farm April 2019.

Class 4: 1m-1.05 Open Team & Individual 
Single phase.
All team riders automatically count as individuals.
Team & Individual National Qualifier

Class 5a/b: 1.10m Team & Individual
Single phase. This class will be split into 5a) Horses, 5b) Ponies. Distances will be shortened in combinations for the pony section. One round single phase.
Advanced Open Individual National Qualifier
Team & Individual Qualifier for the County finals at Bury Farm April 2019. 
Qualifier for the Hickstead Elite 1.10 Individual Qualifier. The top 2 horses & ponies will qualify to compete at Hickstead (1st August 2019). Individual 1.10m qualifiers for horses and ponies (separate sections).

Entry Fee: £20 per rider per class (includes first aid cover). Entries close Sunday 24th March 2019.

Rules

  • This competition is run under NSEA General Rules 2018-19
  • Note - NSEA Rules - hair up please.
  • Outside assistance will not be tolerated, and could result in elimination.
  • NSEA affiliated competitors only may warm up & compete horses on the show ground
  • All competitors, parents and representatives from every school must ensure that they act courteously to stewards and officials at all times. Most of them are volunteers and rudeness is not acceptable.

Your Responsibility

  • All persons attending the event must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents and must obey instructions given by the Organiser or by officials and stewards on its behalf.
  • All competitors and those associated with their school are the responsibility of the Team Manager whilst at the competition
  • All enquiries are to be made by the Team Manager please.

TV & Photography
Please note that professional photographers will be present at NSEA competitions. There may also be TV cameras at the Championships. Please indicate on the entry form if you do not wish to appear in press coverage/ TV or photos taken by our official photographers.

Start times will be published 2 days before the event and will be available on this event page and on the NSEA website.

Declaring 
Competitors are to declare at the secretary’s trailer and collect their number before entering the warm up arena.

Cancellation & Withdrawals

  • You will receive a 100% refund up to one week prior to the event. After this date you will be refunded only if we can fill your space.
