Eland Lodge Equestrian is a successful, busy equestrian business and competition venue covering over 125 acres of beautiful Staffordshire countryside near the village of Draycott in the Clay. Alongside a busy equestrian shop and livery yard we run a very broad range of equestrian shows, competitions and camps throughout the year and they all require a considerable amount of preparation to have them produced to the appropriate standard. The centre has an excellent national reputation for producing events of the highest standard through an unerring attention to detail and a refusal to accept second best.
We currently have a vacancy for a Head Groudsperson to join our team to undertake a broad range of tasks that will not only prepare the ground for these events but ensure the safe and effective running of the centre on a day to day basis. The correct individual will have an excellent practical aptitude, an eye for detail and disciplined approach to their work. They should be capable of handling a broad range of hand tools and be prepared to use heavy machinery including agricultural equipment. Whilst an experienced individual would be ideal, the type of person is of considerable importance and training would be given to someone meeting this specification. An excellent career path is available from Eland based training and through the British Eventing Course Builder training scheme.
Salary is commensurate with experience, applications are invited in writing to John Coupland on email@example.com
