Point Two Arena Eventing

We are monitoring the advice being given by the British Equestrian Federation and the 3 principal equestrian sport governing bodies BE, BD & BS about the current Equine Influenza outbreak. All advise that it is safe to continue to travel to competitions, providing all horses are vaccinated and sensible disease avoidance precautions are taken.

We will continue to monitor the situation and update if necessary.

  • In light of the current situation we will be checking every horse's passport to ensure that vaccinations are up to date.
  • Vaccinations must have taken place within the last year.

Please bring your horse's passport to the secretary be checked when you collect your number (see below). We will not hand numbers out without seeing a passport. If you are unable to show that your horse has been vaccinated within the last year then you will not be allowed to compete.

For this competition all competitors will need to wear a number bib. If you need to buy a bib ready for the season you can do so in our shop, or if you'd like to hire one for the day please bring a £5 cash deposit, which will be refunded in full when the bib is returned.

No competitor will be allowed into the collecting ring without wearing their number.

Held through the winter months on our all-weather arena, our Arena Eventing competitions are fun and challenging. Arena Eventing consists of one continuous course that starts with showjumps and is followed by a variety of working hunter and portable cross country jumps, along with fixed elements such as a ditch, water splash and steps. An optimum time is set for the Cross Country phase and the winner is the rider with a clear round who is closest to the optimum time. A test of partnership and skill, the course involves some related distances, challenging combinations and long flowing lines. Overall, the perfect preparation for both Showjumping, Cross Country and Eventing competitions!
